_{I totally DO have something to post actually LOL my memory is failing me horribly and I blame school.

I've been doing these studies since last week whenever I felt like procrastinating on school. _{Don't do it guys you're gonna take away your own scholarship money //shot}}

I also did some of Lestrade and Castiel (from SPN) but I won't post because they do not have enough sketches right now.

So basically my working method is: stare at a lot of pictures of that particular actor and then spend 2 hours trying to perfect the initial head (it's ALWAYS the one on the top left;;

. Surprisingly the longer it takes the less whiteout I use.

And it's also sad because I still can't draw smiling mouths to save my life even if I ref'ed like, 892736 pics of Moriarty smiling. ~~So I blamed the lighting on the screenshots.~~ AND THEN just now I googled Andrew Scott and there the 2nd image was (or fifth IDK why Google is so indecisive), Andrew displaying that charming smile at the perfect angle. WhyamIsodumbIdon'teven

And sorry you had to see my twisted handwriting and limited vocab LOL _{and possibly spelling mistakes too}

About his eyes...I drew inspiration from L in Death Note. I think it suits Jim, for it creates an unnerving paradox which despite his campy attitude his eyes are almost devoid of life.
