"Lestrade, the box says the doll runs on batteries, but the victim is holding the only available pair in her hands, then how can the doll possibly---...Lestrade? John...? Where are you?"
Perhaps Dean and Sam Winchester have a better hand at dealing with shit like these lol

AHHH MEMORIES
A huge high five for those who recognize this character through a wave of nostalgia because they were scared shitless watching this when they were young
I first watched Child's Play when I was 4 (yeah I know, it couldn't get any worse) and regarded Chucky as the scariest thing to ever show its face on earth. I guess I have a really strange relationship with this movie because it is both nostalgic and bittersweet to reflect back on, but at the same time Chucky's face is drilled deep into my brain so hauntingly I don't think I'll ever completely forget it xD Though by 'haunting' I probably meant in terms of its existence and less about it actually scaring me every now and then. Because I have known this character for so long now, it's as if he's a building block of my childhood ROFL so yeah. Neighbours.
Now I am so excited since I JUST heard that this series could be adapted into a remake and be released around 2012/13 (yes I know I'm slow |||OTL)
Child's Play theme song![link] It is actually a very beautiful piece and not creepy at all FFFFF I barely remembered the movie ever having a theme though since I watched it so long ago ;___;

My God, memories. I can never forget how absolutely terrified I was as a child after seeing this. I watched the movie, got scared shitless, my parents mocked me so I decided to show them that I wasn't affected by staying calm and indifferent when the topic arose for a few days. I slept fine with no nightmares, went upstairs by myself, eventually they let it go. I only managed because of one simple thought, "Chucky doesn't know me, so there's no chance he'll ever find me". The next time we went to the shopping centre, my sister and I passed by a comic store that sold models from movies and there on display was a very realistic Chucky. I stood frozen for a few seconds before silently continuing. For the next few months, the horrible image was engraved in my head of that doll crawling its way into my room, following me, every shadow was Chucky.
HAHA oh man thank you for sharing that story with me! I love how Chucky has effected a lot of children in many different ways looool xD I was absolutely terrified of him back then, I didn't even have the smarts to consider that trick your used to calm myself down. But thinking back on these memories were surely kind of sweet in a nostalgic way xD
Chucky's just one of those really unforgettable characters, like a childhood fear, he was up there with The Boogeyman, Bloody Mary and ghosts. After all, we must have had toys like him at a young age so realizing that one of them could be like Chucky, living and evil, would have been absolutely terrifying. I recall sucking up and being nice to all my toys for weeks, specially my old victorian-style doll. I absolutely love your art piece, a sinister aura radiates from it
It's funny because I looked at this at first and was like: Okay, so it's dark, and that box has blood or something on it, and names... And...
HOLY CRAP WHAT IS THAT THING BEHIND YOU!
I literally jumped in my seat a bit. I've never seen the movie, but this is very creepy/ awesome, so I might have to... But then again, I don't want to develop a fear of dolls. Great piece though!
Fuck!! are you TRYING to give me a heart attack?? when I saw it..... Jesus. the lighting on this is masterfully done in that regard. It's just like how I'd picture it if this were actually animated. Really great way of giving people nightmares. In my head, Watson arrives just in time to save Sherlock and pump Chucky full of lead.
